The Tale of The Seven Sisters exists in many civilizations all around the world: in Greek Mythology as Pleiades, for Aboriginal Australian as Maimai, in the Native American Kiowa as Mateo Tipi, in Hindu Mythology as Krittika, in Ancient Egypt as Athurai, for Polynesian as Matariki, in the Japanese Mythology as Subaru, in Arabic Mythology as Al Thuraya chased by Aldebaran and in Amazigh Mythology as Seven Girls. Even wall paintings by hunter-gatherers at Paleolithic times show the presence of these stars and their importance in ancient cultures.
